Transform Your Well-Being

Being recommended to visit this beautiful city part, I decided to spend my day there yesterday, and just by doing so, I was reminded that true health and wellness begin with moments of profound gratitude, joy, and presence.

With a “picnic basket” in hand, I entered the park (currently, parts of the park is undergoing some up-leveling maintenance – which should be complete sometime in January 2025), its lush greenery, paths, man-made lake and river, restaurants/bars, birds, people of all ages – with or without pets, and other facilities was welcoming me like an old friend.

As the December sun gently warmed my face and body, I found a bench with my name on it, knowing I was right in

bringing some tapas and a crisp bottle of white wine with me. The harmony of nature and delicious food set the tone for a day filled with beauty and serenity.

The Joy of People-Watching

Jardim Mário Soares is a tapestry of life, alive with the vibrant energy of people from all walks of life. Children’s laughter rang out from the playground and the different pathways, their pure joy infectious and heartwarming. Several sporty individuals past by me throughout my time in the park, embodying dedication and vigor, while single souls enjoyed quiet moments of solitude, perhaps lost in thought or engrossed in a good book. Families gathered together either at one of the many benches around the park or visiting one of the restaurants, sharing meals and laughter, while groups of friends animatedly chatted, their energy adding a lively rhythm to the day. Couples strolled hand in hand, their quiet intimacy a gentle reminder of the beauty of connection.
