The Damage Is Done!

Luckily it is repairable…

I’m used to power walking…

But after weeks of sitting way too much on my butt in front of my laptop and not exercising enough at home, I realized…

I’ve mistreated myself badly!

Not only is my neck and back stiff, but every limb, joint, and muscle were screaming – “what the “f” is going on here..?”

I really had to focus on every movement I did, my coordination was way out and I tired very quickly…

After – what I would normally call (well old normal…) – an easy power walk, I simply decided to slow down and walk back home to make sure I was actually going to make it there…

A Norwegian song popped into my head while I was going back…

This tune was played on an exercise program for the elderly in Norway back in the 80’s I believe it was (one of my grandmothers used to follow this program)…

And it went something like this…

“Better and better every day, you should feel fun and be smiling, even if others think you should lie down and rest…”

So, I guess, a little fallback in fitness level is just a temporary setback as many other aspects of life are…

Better days are coming because I’m determined to make that happen 🌞👍
