The year began with my world turning upside down. An opportunity I stepped into at the end of 2024 suddenly dissolved into nothingness. No warning. No safety net. Just… space.
The old version of me might have panicked, scrambled, or gone straight into survival mode. This time, I paused. I trusted solutions I couldn’t yet see. I allowed a door to close without immediately trying to pry it back open – and that decision changed everything.
As I sit here closing 2025 with grace and stepping into 2026 with Intention, I can see now that this year wasn’t about chasing more, proving anything, or forcing outcomes. It was about trust.
Reviewing 2025: The Year That Quietly Changed Everything
That trust gently guided me back to Spain, where a new opportunity emerged one that turned out to be better, richer, and more aligned than I could have planned myself. Life has a funny way of rewarding us when we stop gripping the steering wheel too tightly.
Throughout the year, I was invited to slow down and serve in deeply human ways: caring for an elderly couple, fostering kittens and helping them find loving forever homes, and remembering that contribution doesn’t need applause to be meaningful.
Challenges didn’t disappear, but they transformed into learning blocks.
A simple walking challenge brought unexpected clarity. A quiet, “unproductive” afternoon reshaped how I see life.
Relationships deepened. Health nudged me toward better choices. A trip to Norway reminded me of roots, family, and shared strength.
I also allowed myself something that had been long overdue – a much-needed, week-long holiday with my boyfriend. No rushing. No fixing. Just rest, presence, laughter, and space to reconnect. That pause was as nourishing as it was necessary, reminding me that love and rest are not luxuries, but foundations.
Alongside this inner clearing, I created space in very tangible ways too. I cleared out physical clutter and digital noise – files, folders, unfinished tabs, old belongings – releasing what no longer belonged to the life I’m stepping into. Making room became an act of intention, signalling that I’m ready for what’s next.
And somewhere in the midst of all this – calmly, clearly, without force – the E.V.A. Method™ arrived. Not as a strategy, but as a vision. One that feels like the natural next chapter of everything I’ve lived, learned, and embodied. And I’m convinced it will empower others as well.
Looking Ahead to 2026 - Intention, Alignment, and a New Way Forward
I don’t have all the answers for what 2026 will look like – and for the first time in my life, that doesn’t feel uncomfortable. It feels honest. Spacious. Empowering. What I do have is far more valuable than a detailed plan: confidence built through lived experience, trust earned through surrender, and evidence that life responds beautifully when met with intention rather than fear.
2026 is not about pushing harder or repeating more of the same. It’s about leadershift – a conscious choice to lead my life, my work, and my energy from alignment instead of pressure. Less forcing. More allowing. Less noise. More truth. Growth that feels expansive rather than exhausting.
This coming year, I choose intention over fear – allowing decisions to arise from clarity, not urgency. I choose alignment over pressure, knowing that what’s truly meant for me doesn’t require self-betrayal to obtain. I choose simplicity and calm, intentional action over constant motion, trusting that grounded steps create sustainable momentum.
Personally and professionally, 2026 is about growth that serves the greater good – not growth for ego, numbers, or appearances, but growth that ripples outward. Growth that uplifts, empowers, and leaves people better than I found them. My work will continue to evolve in ways that feel meaningful, ethical, and deeply human.
I’m also committing to support my body so my body can support me. Nourishment over neglect. Rest over resistance. Listening instead of overriding. Because true success is not achieved despite the body, but in partnership with it.
Most of all, 2026 is about living from a place of calm inner leadership – choosing presence over pressure, wisdom over speed, and depth over distraction. I may not see the full path ahead, but 2025 has shown me this: when things fall apart, they often fall into place – and when life is met with intention, it tends to exceed anything we could have predicted.
A Gentle Invitation: The Burning Ritual
Before stepping into a new year, there’s quiet power in pausing long enough to consciously let go. Not in a dramatic, forceful way – but in a grounded, respectful one. This is a gentle invitation to create a small ritual for yourself, one that marks the transition from what has been… to what is ready to emerge.
Take a moment to write down what you’re choosing not to carry with you into 2026.
Old habits that no longer fit. Beliefs that once protected you but now limit you.
Fears, stories, identities, or patterns that feel heavy, outdated, or simply not aligned with who you are becoming.
Be honest. No one else needs to see this.
Before releasing them, pause and acknowledge what they gave you. Even the most uncomfortable experiences often arrived with lessons, resilience, or clarity. Thank them – not because you want them to stay, but because gratitude allows closure without resistance.
Then, in a safe and mindful way, burn the paper. Watch the words dissolve. If fire doesn’t feel right for you, tear the paper slowly and intentionally. What matters isn’t the method, but the meaning you assign to it. As you do, take a deep breath and allow your body to register the release.
Finally, choose – consciously and calmly – what you are bringing with you instead. A feeling. A value. A way of being. Clarity, courage, trust, ease, or alignment. Let that choice land gently.
Because release creates space. And space… is where abundance, clarity, and new possibilities naturally find their way in.
And Now, This Is About You
As you close your own chapter of 2025, remember this: You survived things you once thought you couldn’t. You grew in ways that may not yet be visible. And your next chapter doesn’t require you to have everything figured out – only the courage to keep going.
I’d love to hear from you in the comments:
- What are you leaving behind in 2025?
- What are you intentionally welcoming into 2026?
Let’s step into the new year lighter, clearer, and quietly powerful.
If this post spoke to you, don’t be shy – share your word, your ritual, or your intention below. 2026 and the universe is listening.
