High achievers and world class performers stay motivated due to their attitude, beliefs, and behaviors. They understand that working on their mindset and attitude is the key to their success.

So, if you want to achieve anything in your life, you will need to develop the required self discipline, awareness, and reliance to accomplish your desired result.

I personally believe that developing the skill of being highly self-aware is what separates the average person from the successful.  As I continue to work on my self-awareness daily, I’m becoming much better at observing my circumstances in the moment and not reacting unconsciously, and ultimately I’m becoming a better version of myself.

This skill is extremely important if you want to understand where your thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and behaviors come from. If you’re unable to identify the negative habits or thoughts you are having, then you’ll never be able to change them to healthier ones.

Become Aware of What You’re Thinking


Become aware of what you’re thinking, you have to guard your thoughts as your life depends on it. Because it does!

Your thoughts will either guide you to have the greatest life possible or not.

Every mindset change starts with awareness. Where are YOUR thoughts leading you?

Decide intentionally what you want to believe!

Understand that your mind has been programmed unconsciously from your childhood up to now.

All your experiences, modeling, and conditioning over the years have contributed to how your mind is programmed, good or bad.

However, just like a computer, whatever has been programmed into it, can be reprogrammed if we don’t like what is on it.

And it happens when you can decide to change it.

So, decide what you want, and only say yes to the thoughts that will move you in that direction.

Use Affirmations To Help With Reprogramming!

Use affirmations to help with the reprogramming of your subconscious mind.

You can be a conscious positive person, but still, have a negative subconscious mindset.

Basically, your underlying habits and beliefs may prevent you to move you in the direction of your dreams and desires.

Using positive affirmations daily with added positive feelings, and repeating them to yourself daily several times a day, eventually, your subconscious mind (underlying habits & beliefs) will be in harmony with your conscious desire.

Ask your mind the right questions!

Ask your mind the right questions that will generate the answers you want.

Know that for every question there is already an answer…

So make sure you only ask questions you really want the answer to.

If you are asking “why am I so broke?” you affirm you are broke and the right answer will not be given to you.

Ask a growth question instead, like “how can I make more money?”, and almost like magic the answer you are seeking will appear.

Be As Your Future Best Self

Think, act, walk, talk, and conduct as your future best self, in other words, practice today, and every day, as you envision yourself as you want to become.

When you practice thinking and feeling like your future self as if you have already accomplished or become who you want to be, your world as you know it will dramatically change.

I use this mindset hack every day with a trigger that will remind you to act as your future best self.

Find triggers that will help you to think as a successful person, walk as a successful person, talk as a successful person, and conduct yourself as a successful person.

Use your mental energy wisely!

Know that it doesn’t take any more effort to think positive than it does to think negative.

Also know, you’ll use the exact level of mental energy thinking about a small goal as you will be thinking about a big goal.

Your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between big and small, only your conscious mind does, if you let it…

You see, what we consciously believe to be big or small is what we suppress upon our subconscious mind, so when you think of a goal don’t consciously classify it as big or small, just think of it as it is…

A goal which you CAN achieve 🙂

New thoughts becomes new habits!

If you constantly walk around and say “I can’t do that” or “I don’t know how” you are actually confirming that to yourself with the result that you can’t do it and you are not even bothered to figure out how… And your habits will stay the same!

It’s like Henry Ford once said: “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t you’re right.”

So, if you have a desire to do something, believe that you can and trust you will figure out a way to do it. And if you don’t know how, now worries, just trust yourself and start telling yourself you will find the answer to it!

You see, when you think possibilities instead of limitations you move into action… 

You’ll start searching, researching, test out the waters so to speak, and with that you are creating a new habit that will serve you well, one way or the other!

Attitude: I either win or I learn!

Failures or setbacks are not something you are alone facing. We all experience them throughout our lifetime!

However, a failure is not failure until you quit. And setbacks are only setbacks is you stay in the setback position.

When you face a failure or a setback, acknowledge them, take responsibility for what you are responsible for, and then think of ways you could have handled the journey differently up to this point.

Then you will learn what YOU did that didn’t work out the way you planned on, so now, instead of doing the same thing over and over again, you have the chance to correct it.

And don’t worry if you are to make another mistake again, because you will for sure do that…

Successful people learn more from their failures and setbacks then they do when on a winning journey!

You Can believe anything!

You can believe anything!

It doesn’t matter what you believe, but your life will reflect what you believe in.

So, ask yourself… How are my finances, my career, my relationships, my health, my self-care, my recreation time, and my contribution to the world at large?

Whether or not you define the different areas as good or bad, it is down to you what you believe in!

This isn’t delusional. You could die tomorrow, but you choose not to believe that. You choose to believe you’re going to live so you don’t go to bed every night worrying if you are wake up in the morning or not…

The most freedom there is, is to think and believe anything.

Even if you’ve had a certain belief all your life, and that belief no longer serves you in the best way possible, you can choose to believe in something else that will serve you better…

If your results in life are not what you want, change your belief and with that, you’ll change your results. This is 100% true!

Face your negative emotions!

Let’s face it, there is something called negative emotions and we’ve all faced them, and they pop up every now and again.

For some more than others…

I used to hold back my negative emotions and bottle them up as I looked upon them as a weakness… The problem with that is, the less we face our negative emotions, the stronger they become…

And just trust me, the result might turn out more disastrous than necessary!

So, when you are having a bad day, a bad week, or a bad month… Whether it’s a death in your family, a job loss, an accident, a breakup, a fight with your spouse, or a friend…

Whatever it is that you are thinking and feeling due to an event, add “…and that’s okay” to it.

If you just got laid off, you could say “I feel awful and that’s okay.” Deal with your thoughts and emotions by facing them, acknowledge they are there without “shutting down”.

What this does is, it helps you remember that nothing has gone terribly wrong, it’s fixable, and you can overcome it.

By doing this, you’re less likely to resist, react, or avoid your negative emotions, and you can heal and move on quicker instead of being stuck in the mud.

You have to lose any negative belief about yourself that they will hold you back from achieving success in your life.

Believing that you can’t accomplish your dreams prevents your mind from looking for ways to make that dream a reality for you.

You don’t need to know exactly HOW to succeed, you only need to want to improve your way, and the road-map will appear when you start taking inspired actions towards your dreams and goals.

Create 2.0 version of yourself!

A great way to start doing things you say you’re going to do is to create a “2.0 version” of yourself.

Basically, your new standard of excellence!

In practical terms this means that you make appointments with the 2.0 version of yourself.

You absolutely honor, love, and respect this 2.0 version more than anyone on the planet, and you are practicing having your own back. It’s about loving yourself for the greater good.

It’s not about the ego driving you on the cost of others, it’s about you being true to yourself to serve better and spread the love. It’s a life changer!

Pay Attention To Your Thoughts

You are not your thoughts, however, your thoughts have an impact on you and your life!

There is a difference between you and your thoughts.

When you learn to shift from being IN your thoughts to being the observer of your thoughts, everything changes.

Developing awareness about your thought pattern is how you begin to shift your mindset. And your thinking.

Awareness alone is often enough to cause shifts in your thinking without needing to really do anything.

Rewrite your past!

The past doesn’t exist anymore, it only exists as sentences and memories in your mind.

Today, you have a certain opinion of your past, and the different experiences probably have different meanings to you as well…

You probably had a few bad experiences, even horrible things that happened to you, and you also probably had some good experiences and even some great ones.

Whatever your current perception of your past is, you get to decide if you want that perception to still be true or not.

You can choose to rewrite your past – no you can’t go back and change what happened – but you can change what it means to you today as you are moving forward in your life.

Will you let your past hold you back and accept being a victim of your past, or will you make your past become an inspiration for your growth and strength and what you’ll become in the future?

So, if you think you’ve had a tough past that is still holding you back, makes you feel smaller and weaker than you are, here’s my challenge to you…

Tell the story of how you had the exact past you needed to in order to create your powerful future.

If you do this you’ll find it as real magic!

Plan Results – Not Time!

Many of us think we are more productive than we actually are. We get things done, however, not always the things we need to do.

Part of the problem is how you’re planning. I’d be willing to bet you create a long to-do list, and then start working on what’s easiest or most fun…

This is not how you increase productivity, especially not if none of the tasks you are doing are important for your self-growth, or your business growth.

To become more productive during the day, you need to…

Start using a calendar! Whether you prefer a digital one (like Google calendar), or a more traditional hand-written one, that’s totally up to you!

Use time blocking to plan how you’ll spend your time. Divide it into like “personal goal”, “business goal”, “school goal”, and/or “home/family goal”.

Plan the RESULT you intend to produce for each area, not just how you’ll spend your time getting there. So, if you between 6-7 am your block is “personal”, ONLY focus on that and get it done. Next might be “business” between 8-11 am, you can plan your business tasks after the most important goal/result that you are after. Then focus on ONLY that. If you can’t complete your tasks within that time, schedule a new block-time to get it done. Then move on to your next “block”, etc.

Many of us operate in the time-based economy, rather than the results-based economy. What I mean by this is we’re more focused on how we’ll spend our time instead of what we want to produce, when it really should be prioritized the other way around.

Being productive means you produce something, you are not just busy doing a lot of non-productive stuff…

This subtle mindset hack will be a serious game-changer for you.

Practice Being Your Future Self!

Your current circumstances are a result of your past thinking and actions. This is something most people don’t seem to understand.

They focus on their present results and conditions and believe they can’t do much about it. So, they keep on doing what they’ve always done, and with that, keep on getting the same results over and over again.

Now, to change that and to reach your desired goals and create different results, you have to shift your thoughts to your “future self”. Meaning, you have to act as if your desires are already a reality.

You can do this by creating a list of thoughts and feelings your future self would have as if your dreams and goals were already true.

This can be hard for your logical mind to comprehend but think of it as micro-steps…

🔮 How would you think, feel and act if your goal was already accomplished?
🔮 How would you listen to other people and how would your conversations go?
🔮 How would you think about and treat other people?
🔮 How would you conduct yourself in all your affairs?
🔮 What would your daily routines be like, from you get up in the morning till you go to sleep at night?
🔮 What books would you read?
🔮 What would you believe in, and what would you reject doing? Etc.

If you think from a positive statement of “I AM…” and write it out every morning and then feel the positive emotions that come with it, as your future self, you are well on your way to create a better version of yourself and your life, and you’ll find that you’ll start to attract those things that you desire 🙂

Let your imagination run freely, do not judge yourself or think that this is silly, because it is not. Your mind has the power to help you create your future reality!

Focus on your future goal, take action towards its attainment today, and enjoy the ride along the way 🙂

Decide What You Want To Believe

Anyone can tell you that you should believe in this, that and the other… Now, nobody can make you believe unless you allow them to and choose not to think for yourself…

You see, you have the RIGHT to believe in anything you want to believe in!

You don’t need to have a good reason or evidence to support it. You can just decide to believe in something because you want to believe in it, simply because it feels right to you, or your intuition tells you this is the right thing to believe in.

You can decide to believe in your ability to lose weight even though your whole family is overweight.

You can believe in your ability to learn and grow even if you are in an environment that doesn’t support that.

You can decide to believe in your ability to start a successful business even though you’ve never done it before, and don’t know how to right now. If you think you have a great idea, follow that inspiration and believe you’ll figure it out along the way.

You have the choice! Choose YOUR beliefs and let them lead you toward that life that you really want 😉

Remove Distractions From Your Morning Routine!

Did you know that the way you start your day can dictate the energy for the rest of your day?

Are you consciously aware of YOUR morning routine? I mean, what do you do during the first hour after you wake up?

If you are not happy to get up and going, if you are stressed out and maybe always late out the door, have you ever thought that your morning routine could be replaced with a shift in your energy?

Are there any distractions that you can remove from your morning routine so your first hour of the day will set you off to a great start of your day?

Any morning should be a good one, at least as best as possible, and you have the power to make that happen!

Be Grateful For What You Have

Look at the results and what you have in your life, like overcoming past wins & struggles, your current home, your job, your money, your friends, your spouse… all of these results were created in your mind first, consciously or not.

You might not be satisfied with it all, and that’s not a bad thing. It just means you are not settling 😉

By analyzing your current situation, in all areas of your life, choose to be grateful for it, and at the same time figure out what it is you want to improve – and why. That’s when you raise your standards, and you’ll find that you instantly start working towards whatever it is you want to improve.

This is great news. It means that if you don’t like your results, you can simply create something else.

Don’t worry about the how. The how will show up, just focus on believing in whatever it is that you want, for now; build a clear vision of it in your mind, and feel the positive vibrations of it, and your actions will lead you there 🙂

Remember, the goal isn’t the goal itself, it is whom you are becoming in the process 😉

Life is happening for you!

Life is happening for you!

Your thoughts cause your feelings.
Your feelings cause your actions.
Your actions cause your results.

If you want to change your results you must start by altering your thoughts, how you feel about your thoughts, and that will eventually be expressed through your new actions.

Now, if you let outside circumstances control what you are thinking, you ultimately accept the idea of things outside you, instead of taking responsibility and ownership of being in control of your own life.

If you can look upon your current circumstances as neutral, then you have set the ground for rebuilding your life. You see, your current circumstances are a result of your past thinking, feeling, and actions, and doesn’t have to define your future.

When you start to use this mindset hack in your daily life, you get all the authority back to design the life that you really want.

Instead of thinking from lack, limitation, and scarcity, and start thinking from an abundance and prosperity standpoint, you have altered your attitude (thoughts + feelings + actions) your perception of circumstances changes.

It really shifts your thinking from “your life is happening to you”, to “your life is happening for you”, and that is a life-changing shift 💥
